We decided to sit down and ask some questions so you can get to know your new best friend!

1. Where did you grow up?
   A: My family lived in Reno, NV and moved to Scottsdale in 2001. I attended middle school and high school here and then went to Arizona State University.

2. What made you decide to become a PA/Aesthetic Specialist?
   A: I love that I get to combine science and art in my job. It’s also very rewarding to help people in this way. Many clients come back and tell me that after their treatment they feel rejuvenated—that they look the way they feel on the inside or that they get comments about how good their skin looks. It’s not about making drastic changes, but instead small tweaks that make all the difference.

3. What are your top three favorite procedures to provide, and why do you like them?
   1. Cheek filler (Voluma, Restylane Lyft, Radiesse, Sculptra): This is typically the one area I can treat that makes a big difference for almost everyone. When done right, cheek filler gives a nice natural contour, lift, and gives a slimmer and more youthful appearance.
   2. Plasma Pen is an amazing treatment, especially around the eyes! It provides amazing improvement in fine lines, skin texture, and skin tightening.
   3. This isn’t a procedure in itself, but I love working together with our aestheticians to create comprehensive treatment plans for our patients. There are so many options—Vivace, Plasma Pen, Botox/Dysport, filler, skin care, etc.—and it’s very overwhelming for patients to navigate on their own! Together we come up with plans that give patients the most effective results taking into account their preference for downtime, longevity, and desired results.

4. Outside of your university work, what kind of training and education have you received?
   1. Bachelor of Science in Dietetics—Arizona State University
   2. Bachelor of Science in Nursing—Grand Canyon University
   3. Doctor of Nursing Practice, Family Nurse Practitioner—Graduating December 2019 from Gonzaga University
   4. Advanced Injectables Certification
   5. I attend at least once conference and several classes or seminars every year where I learn from other experts in this field.

5. How do you stay on top of the latest and greatest in skin care, etc.?
   A: I attend courses and conferences throughout the year and read new literature as it comes out but also have colleagues who enjoy discussing and collaborating on new techniques and products available.

6. Why can you give better care than the competition?
   A: I am a perfectionist and truly care about my patients’ outcomes. I always strive to deliver the best, most natural and safest results. I have many patients who come to be over and over again because not only are they happy with their treatments, but they trust my expertise and honesty. We also often have great conversations during appointments!

7. Tell us a little about your family.
   A: I have been married for three years and my husband and I have two dogs, a labradoodle and a sheepadoodle. We are a little obsessed with them—my husband never had a dog growing up so he is making up for it now!
